Winter Springs High School offers a rigorous and challenging curriculum that prepares students to attend the finest colleges and universities in America. Approximately 85% of the graduating class of 2017 participated in post-secondary education with 33% enrolling in community colleges and 50% planning to attend four-year colleges or universities. The graduating class of 2017 earned more than 4 million scholarship dollars.

WSHS students have been accepted at prestigious colleges and universities. Among them are the following: Harvard University, Brown University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Maryland, University of Florida, Florida State University, Virginia Tech, California Polytechnic University, Holy Cross, Stetson, University of Miami, University of Kentucky, Rutgers, Georgia Tech, Brigham Young University, University of Mississippi, and University of Central Florida.

Military Careers

The Army JROTC program is a four-year program that affords students the opportunity for leadership development by emphasizing a strong sense of integrity, responsibility, respect for others, insight into ethical values and principles, the ability to live and work with others and respect for constitutional authority.
