AP BiologyAP Biology students for the 2011-2012 need to pick up their textbooks and summer assignment in Mrs. Ciccarello's room 7-220. It will be due the first week of school. AP ChemistryStudents taking AP Chemistry in the 2011-12 year please contact Mrs. Miraglia at kay_miraglia@scps.k12.fl.us for your summer assignments SUMMER READINGSummer Reading Brochure The Summer Reading for 10 Honors is wrong in the brochure. It says 10 Honors & Gifted is Reading The Book Thief and Lord of the Flies. Only Gifted is reading both. Honors is only reading The Book Thief. The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver Assignment: Read this particularly interesting article on annotation before Annotate the text while reading, carefully considering characters in the novel, English - 11th Grade Standard Reading Log Assignment: The Juvie Three AP GovernmentStudents taking AP Government who did not do so before they left for the Summer, need to either 1) pick up their Summer Assignment packet in Guidance (Ms. Black has them), or 2) log into Ms. May’s Blackboard site where they can find it and print it out under the tab ‘Assignments’. Note: Students who were already registered to take the AP Government course prior to the end of the school year should already be enrolled in the Blackboard course. If a student is a late registration, they need to contact Ms. May at Lisa_May@scps.k12.fl.us so that she can enroll them in Blackboard. Ms. May will be monitoring her school e-mail regularly, so it should not take long to get enrolled and begin the assignment. The assignment is due on the first day of school in the Fall, regardless of which Semester the student is enrolled in. |
