Program of Emphasis

The Winter Springs High School SERVE Academy, committed to shaping the future leaders of our community, is dedicated to preparing students for post-secondary education and impactful careers in public service. The SERVE Academy offers students the opportunity to explore and develop essential skills in public service fields such as firefighting, criminal justice, emergency planning, or teaching. Through hands-on training, real-world simulations, and expert-led instruction, students will gain valuable experience in leadership and service.

Our academy, characterized by strategic community partnerships and a human service mindset, provides students with a well-rounded education encompassing three distinctive program pathways: Criminal Justice Operations, Emergency Planning and Response, and Principles of Teaching. Through these pathways, students gain invaluable real-world knowledge, skills, and experiences, ensuring they are equipped for success in any direction they choose to pursue. This comprehensive approach sets the stage for our students to emerge as capable and versatile leaders, ready to contribute meaningfully to the diverse landscape of public service.
